Handmade in Ghana, Africa, natural African Black Soap is made from dried plantain skins, palm leaves, cocoa powder (chocolate) and kernel oil for an all-natural cleansing process. 100% natural with no perfumes or dyes.

Black soap is soft and organically shaped with a delicate crumbly texture and natural, earthy aroma.

Plantains skins are largely what makes black soap so effective. It is a natural source of vitamins A & E and iron. When black soap is made, the skin of the plantain is dried under the sun and then roasted in a clay oven. The heat must be constant in order to achieve the perfect brownish black color and texture. Afterwards, cocoa pod powder is added. Cocoa pod is the shell of the cocoa fruit and also has natural healing properties.

Returns

Non-Defective Merchandise

May be returned within 14 days of the original invoice date for store credit after obtaining a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Must be returned in original, sealed packaging. Opened items are considered used and are not returnable.
All paperwork, including warranties, instructions and invoice receipt must be included with return.
Subject to a 10% restock fee.
Original shipping and return shipping non-refundable.

Defective Merchandise

May be returned within 14 days of the invoice date for store credit or exchange after obtaining a RMA number.
Merchandise covered by this policy is defined as any item with movable hinges, parts or related components and plug in devices.
