Where Our True Virgin European Russian Hair Is From: Our hair is collected only from young, healthy women from Russia. Our importer is located in Russia and collects each ponytail from the donor. We do not use a middle man. We have all import papers and shipping invoices from Russia verifying the origin and authenticity of our hair. Because of high demand/low supply of genuine European Russian hair, we frequently run out of stock and may experience extended wait times between shipments.
Colors And Textures: We offer only genuine Virgin European hair which is never processed for color or texture. All the hair we import is in the color range pictured below:
We do not list this hair using the standardized color ring because all the colors are virgin and can have several variations in each shade. Virgin Light Brown, for example, can fall within the range of what some may consider Dark Blonde. Almost all shades are warm. If ash tones are needed, we have had tremendous success with color deposit only techniques. Because this is virgin hair, it can be lifted, bleached, dyed, colored with semi or permanent color, you can use henna...anything you can do with your own hair, you can do with virgin hair. If, however, you do not have the experience to successfully manipulate hair color or texture, take it to a professional. If you begin manipulating the hair and you're not absolutely sure how it will turn out - you should not proceed. Virgin hair can damage just as easily as your own so proceed at your own risk or choose your hair professional wisely before handing over your investment.
Because the hair is virgin, it can be darker at the point of cutting and gradually become lighter as the length progresses. As hair grows and is exposed to the sun, UV penetration causes hair strands to naturally lighten. One ponytail from one person can contain several different levels of unprocessed, virgin color. In some original cut ponytails this can clearly be seen as the underside of the ponytail will be darker.
Machine Wefts: We have ready-made custom machine wefts in stock and ready to ship. Weft widths vary according to length and weight of hair. A 3oz 16" weft will be much wider than a 3oz 24" weft because the length of the hair is where the weight is. Cutting machine wefts are at customer's discretion. All wefts are single drawn remy meaning the shortest hair at the top has been removed. The entire weft does contain hair in various lengths. Our experience has been that single drawn is preferred as 1) it is less expensive 2) it produces a more natural look and 3) there is less waste when cutting/razoring to blend (if any blending is needed at all). We draw all our hair from original bulk ponytails. No hair is inverted. It is 100% cuticle correct. Our thin wefts lay flat and comfortable and are easily doubled or tripled for density. The return (or fold over hair) at the weft is almost non-existent at approximately 1/8".
Length: The length listed is the longest measured length when the hair is straight and contains varying shorter lengths for a more natural look when worn.
Single Drawn: Single drawn hair does not mean inadequate thin ends. We start with our best premium ponytails to ensure full wefts. Below is a photo of our single drawn 16" Virgin European Russian Hair. While the entire weft does contain hair in various lengths, the overall weft is noticeably full from weft to ends. Our experience has been that single drawn is preferred as 1) it is less expensive 2) it produces a more natural look and 3) there is less waste when cutting/razoring to blend (if any blending is needed at all).
Individual Color and Texture Matching: We do not perform coloring services on request and this hair is not available in any color other than unprocessed virgin.
We do not recommend trying to match color or textures by sending photos. With colors, photos you provide may look different on our monitor due to resolution differences. What we cannot do is match textures through photos. Texture is a tactile experience. Your definition of texture can be different than ours. Very specific matching can only be done with a sample sent to us.
