When will an item be back in stock?

We do not estimate or offer availability times. Our experience with suppliers has taught us to not expect shipments on time or that we will receive what we ordered. An item will only be back in stock when we physically have it and it has been inspected.

Out of stock items: If an item is out of stock, there will be an option to be notified when the product or product option is available. Enter your email address to receive an email when the item is back in stock. Be sure to place our domain in your safe sender's list of your email program. Our store will automatically email you the moment the item is back in stock.

What is Virgin Hair?

Virgin hair has never been chemically processed. Virgin hair can be of any ethnicity and is generally the best investment as it is not uncommon for the hair to last several years with proper care.

What is "Remy" hair?

Remy refers to hair in correct alignment from root to end with all of the cuticles going in the same direction. Remy cannot be folded over or installed upside down or it will cause the hair to become matted. Remy can be different from Virgin hair as it may be colored or permed. Remy is used in making higher quality wigs, extensions, and hair systems.

What is the best hair?

The "best" hair is subjective.

In terms of durability, nothing compares to high quality 100% Virgin Remy Hair when it can be worn without altering its virgin condition. However, virgin hair can have varying color and texture differences so consistently getting the same combination of the exact color and texture is not as predictable as processed hair.

Another consideration is that virgin hair are shades of black and brown. One exception is Russian European which is never black but shades of dark brown to dark blonde. Russian European, if some opinions or hair articles are to be believed, is touted as the best hair. While it fills a certain niche, we do not hold the opinion Russian European is the best. We do not hold that opinion on Indian, Asian or even Brazilian hair. And the reason is this:

The "best" hair is not a label we can apply to any color, texture, curl pattern, length or ethnicity hair type. The "best" hair will always be an individual's matter of personal taste, preference and what works for them.

What hair on your site will match my texture?

We receive daily inquiries if a specific hair will match certain hair types. As much as we'd like to say with certainty that our hair will match yours, we honestly can't make that determination with 100% accuracy. Each product has detailed information, descriptions and photographs to help you in your selection. If we've failed to include basic information on hair relating to color, length and type, please don't hesitate to ask us for it. Most all the processed hair on our site have samples available so you can test a small quantity. With virgin hair, the most accurate way to get a texture that will work for you is by sending us a comparable sample to match.

What hair extension method will work best for me?

Hair extension professionals cannot provide proper consultations through phone or email and we are unable to provide such a service either. The only way to know would require an evaluation in person. If you have never worn or installed hair extensions, a complete evaluation from a qualified professional is needed to determine if your hair type is strong enough or suitable for the method you wish to wear.

How do I install and remove hair extensions?

It's difficult to not be able to provide one-on-one assistance to those wanting to become proficient with hair extensions. However, due to the volume of questions we receive about how to use, install, maintain and remove hair extensions, we respectfully refer customers to their professional stylists. Demos and tutorials on our site are supplemental information to show how your hair professional may use various products. We offer training mannequins with 100% human hair to practice installation and removal of any hair extension method. Prior to installing any hair extension system on yourself or others, do so on a mannequin to acquire complete knowledge of how a system is properly and safely removed.

The hair didn't work for me (or my client), what do I do now?

Per our Terms & Conditions, we do not refund used items. With processed hair, it is always advisable to order a sample of the hair type you would like to wear so you can inspect the texture and weft construction, if applicable. All our samples are made at the same time as our stock inventory so there are from the same "batch" production.  It is always a difficult position to be in to hear hair has not performed well. Which is why, with most products we offer, there are small quantities available before investing in a larger purchase. With any hair extension there will be good and bad experiences between customers with the exact same product. We advise with any product you haven't used before, order the smallest quantity available to determine if it meets your expectations. Particularly with client installations, the stylist is advised to personally wear the hair themselves so they can proceed with confidence with their clients. Once hair has been installed in larger quantities, there has been ample opportunity to inspect it and determine if the construction and feel of the hair has met a certain level of satisfaction. We provide a Hair Maintenance Guideline leaflet with every hair purchase. This is meant as a guideline only. One type of extension hair will NOT always perform like another. Please remember this is human hair and all human hair will tangle; your own as well as extensions. If hair is still unmanageable following our guidelines and your own care, try the Bleach Bath Instructions located on our blog.

How much hair do I need?

On average it can take about 3oz of hair to add volume and approximately 6oz - 9oz for a full head installation adding both volume and extended length. These numbers are typical but can vary for each individual. The longer and fuller you want your hair to be, the more hair you will need. If you're still unsure how much to order, you will need the assistance of your hair extension professional who'll be installing your extensions. After a consultation, they'll advise you what will work best for your particular needs.

I ordered a sample of hair, is this how my larger order will look?

Processed hair goes through the same chemical routine from batch to batch. Slight color variations may be present or curl patterns may slightly differ but it's a near identical replication of what you will receive. Samples from all our hair collections are taken from shorter lengths of hair so curl patterns may be more defined in your sample. As a general rule, longer lengths have looser curl patterns than shorter lengths.

In our Virgin Hair categories, unique hair is even more the case. Samples of virgin hair from the same category (straight, waves, curls, etc) may be different in color and texture.

If you expect to receive a larger bulk or weft purchase that matches a virgin hair sample exactly, you may be disappointed in the fact they are different. We're happy to offer samples but with virgin hair the disclaimer must be made: what you receive is unique and every item in virgin hair can be unique as well.

Textures: Texture is defined as "the appearance and feel of a surface." Any hair can have varying degrees of texture from silky straight, waves, curls, coarse, smooth, etc. We've separated our hair into categories but if you're requesting a description of what we have available in any category, it is best to remember that our description is our interpretation and yours may be very different. In the past we have sent the same hair to two people and one described it as silky and the other described it as coarse. Because of this, we will generally defer back to you and request you send us a sample of the approximate texture you're requiring. We can interpret and attempt to match wave and curl patterns with photos you provide but when it comes to a specific "feel" of hair, please contact us about sending your sample.

Will you take photos of the hair before I order?

Due to the amount of requests we receive for photos and time spent pulling stock, setting up, taking and sending photographs, we are no longer taking individual photos.
